What Are EMFs and Why Should You Care?
We live in a world surrounded by technology, and with that comes electromagnetic fields (EMFs). You might not realize it, but every time you use your phone, microwave, any electrical device, walk into a public place with Wi-Fi, you're being exposed to EMFs. The concern around EMFs primarily stems from their harmful effects on our health, both mental and physical.
The Effects of EMF Exposure
The answer might depend on your individual sensitivity to EMF harm. As with all things God created us each individually. We all react differently to different things. Some people are super sensitive to chemicals while others seem to have a higher tolerance, some are sensitive to heavy metals while others can bear a much larger load same with EMF exposure. As with the forementioned, everyone is affected by chemicals, heavy metals, and EMF's.....No one is exempt from them, however we all react differently to them. Our Secretay of Health Robert F Kennedy Jr. states that EMF exposure is linked to cancer. We also know it is linked to depression, brain fog, inflammation, headaches, body aches and more.
Simple Steps to Reduce EMF Exposure
Fortunately, there are steps you can take to manage your exposure. Here are a few effective strategies:
Limit Screen Time: Reducing the amount of time you spend on devices can help. Set aside specific times to unplug.
Safe Sleep: When you go to bed at night, unplug everything in your room and keep your phone in a different room
Use Airplane Mode: When not in use, turn your device to airplane mode to minimize radiation exposure.
Distance Matters: Keeping a physical distance from devices, especially during calls or while sleeping, can significantly lower your exposure. When talking on your phone use speaker instead of holding it up to your head.
Optimize Your Environment: Consider using EMF shielding products designed to reduce radiation exposure. I wear a Harmoni Pendant at all times. Its also a great idea to unplug your electronics when not in use.
WiFi: Instead of having WiFi in your home have ethernet wired in. Turn the WiFi off on your phone.
Detox: It is not truly possible to "detox" from EMF's but you can do things like grounding, getting outdoors, swimming in the ocean, etc. to help.
Taking these precautions doesn’t mean you need to live in fear of technology. It’s all about finding a balance that allows you to enjoy the conveniences of modern life, while being mindful of potential EMF harm.
Ultimately, the key is awareness. Keeping informed about EMFs and how to manage your exposure can provide peace of mind, allowing you to make better decisions about technology use in your day-to-day life. Remember, moderation is your friend! There are several people I personally like to go to for great advice on EMF exposure...Dr. Mercola, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Wendy Myers. Find a holistic practitioner to work with to help you limit your EMF exposure.
